Beware the Slasher

So there I was, sitting at the al fresco Starbucks in the plaza between the downtown LA courthouse and the County Hall of Administration, waiting for a meeting, when I overhear folks who are walking away and discussing -- of all things -- slash fan fiction. For all I know, they might have sequed into a discussion of Lee Goldberg's war on fan fiction.
