Goodbye, Little Buddy
Bob Denver, Maynerd G. Krebs to one generation and Gilligan to another, has passed away at 70.

I always liked the radio that pausesd long enough for them to comment. Of the survivors, I think Marianne is in the best health. Although Tina Louise is a total recluse and it is hard to know how she is doing.
I met the actor who played the Professor(Russell Johnson) at a convention about 10 years ago. I told him that his was my favorite character, because he seemed to be the only halfway rational castaway. He replied, "I only said what they wrote in the script!"

I am suprised he said that, you don't have to be arrogant to accept a compliment.
He wasn't being arrogant -- he was being self-deprecating. He laughed as he said it.
My favorite was Mary Anne.
